Vase Gallery Direct Oshima Grey Stoneware 28cm 5059413394904

Oshima Vase by Gallery Direct – a sculptural piece in grey stoneware

The Oshima vase is a decorative accent in the spirit of contemporary studio ceramics. It's made from stoneware — a dense, high-fired ceramic material prized for its durability. Its irregular, sculptural silhouette sets it apart from classic symmetrical vases, giving a space a modern, gallery-like character.

Finish and colour

The surface is covered in a grey reactive glaze that subtly shifts tone depending on the light, emphasising the piece's uneven form. The same model is also available in white, making it easy to match different interior styles, from minimalist to industrial.

Dimensions and weight

The vase stands 28 cm tall, with a width and depth of 21 cm each — large enough to work as a standalone decorative piece on a sideboard, console table or dining table, yet compact enough not to dominate the room. At around 1.88 kg, the solid stoneware build gives it a stable footing.

Use

Oshima works equally well as a freestanding sculptural object or as a vessel for dried flowers or ornamental grasses, such as pampas grass, reinforcing a space's natural, organic character. A good match for anyone who appreciates handcrafted aesthetics and unconventional shapes in home décor.
