Maytoni Velora O139WL-L8BRK is a brown outdoor wall light with a transparent spherical shade. Two circular elements connected by a slender arm remain visible inside, while the aluminium fitting has a round wall base. Unlike a closed box light or an opaque shade, this design keeps its internal structure on show even when the light is switched off.
A 20 cm sphere beside the entrance
The overall height is 22.5 cm and the diameter is 20 cm. Before choosing a position, compare these measurements with the width of a pillar, the available wall area beside an entrance and the clearance needed for an opening door. The spherical form also needs space in front of its mounting surface. It is not a flat panel sitting close against the wall, so the surrounding clearance matters as well as the front view.
Velora can be considered for wall lighting beside a terrace or garden entrance. Its brown circles and narrow connecting arm make a restrained geometric composition suited to modern and minimalist façades. Because the transparent cover leaves the metal elements visible, their colour remains relevant when coordinating the light with other building details.
Warm white output, without dimming
The LED light source is rated at 8 W with a colour temperature of 3000 K, giving warm white light. The manufacturer specifies a luminous flux of 420 lm, a beam angle of 110° and a colour rendering index of CRI 90. These figures describe the light separately from the size of the globe: shade diameter is not a measure of brightness. When planning several fittings, consider the area to be lit and the distances between them rather than assuming the same result on every wall.
This version is not dimmable. If brightness adjustment is part of your lighting plan, account for that restriction before selecting control equipment.
Electrical connection and outdoor conditions
The fitting operates on 220–240 V AC and is a Class I luminaire. Its IP54 rating provides limited protection against dust and protection against splashing water, not permission for immersion. The declared operating temperature range is -40 to +50°C. Electrical connection and installation should be handled by an appropriately qualified person. The manufacturer states a five-year warranty for this model.
