The Elstead Winchfield is a large picture light with four E14 lamp holders. This exact WINCHFIELD-PLL-AB-OAK version combines a steel frame with an aged-brass finish and oak-effect details. Its slender curved shades and adjustable arms are visible features of the fitting, giving the installer a way to position the light relative to the artwork.
Size and placement
The fitting measures 703 mm wide, 127 mm high and projects 318 mm from the wall. Compare the 703 mm width with the frame or artwork before choosing it, and check that the projection has space above the picture. Elstead specifies this model for interior locations. The combination of warm metal colour and oak effect is part of the manufacturer’s Mid-Century Modern Winchfield family, rather than a separate material claim.
Choosing lamps
Four E14 lamps are required and none are supplied with the fitting. Each lamp may be rated up to 40 W. The light operates on 220–240 V, 50 Hz mains supply, is Class I and is compatible with dimmable lamps. Brightness and colour appearance therefore depend on the four E14 lamps selected for it. The product weight is 2.6 kg; the manufacturer lists a 2.8 kg box weight. These separate figures help distinguish the fitting from its packaged shipment.
Practical comparison
The stated dimensions describe the fitting itself and do not prescribe a picture size. Four holders are distributed along the wide body, so matching E14 lamps can be selected for the whole fitting. Before installation, allow for the mains connection and the Class I construction. As lamps are not included, they should be chosen separately within the stated wattage limit; no particular lamp colour or output is specified for this model.
