WoodMan ALLEGRO double bed in untreated beech, 140 × 200 cm, WUA-01044

ALLEGRO untreated beech bed, 140 × 200 cm

WoodMan ALLEGRO WUA-01044 is a low double-bed frame made from solid FSC-certified beech. This exact version provides a 140 × 200 cm sleeping area and has an untreated finish: the wood is supplied without oil or varnish. Its grain therefore remains part of the visible character of the frame, while leaving the finish open to a considered, individual choice.

Open, low-profile frame

The bed has a light-looking construction with a slim headboard and gently angled 14 cm legs. The space beneath the side rails is open; the official specification confirms that this model has no under-bed storage. Overall dimensions are 210 cm long, 147 cm wide and 65 cm high at the headboard. With a 20 cm mattress, the stated bed height is approximately 40 cm.

Included with the frame

• spruce slats forming the mattress base,
• the wooden frame and headboard,
• assembly instructions and assembly tools,
• no mattress and no integrated storage unit.

Dimensions and assembly

The manufacturer recommends a 20 cm mattress. It specifies a 0.5 cm mattress recess and 4.5 cm spacing between the slats. The stated load capacity is 250 kg and this 140 × 200 cm untreated variant weighs 33 kg. Assembly is described as easy but requires two people. A hammer is recommended, together with an electric screwdriver fitted with an S4 bit.

Made in Ukraine and covered by a two-year manufacturer warranty, ALLEGRO suits buyers looking for a clearly proportioned timber bed frame rather than an upholstered or boxed design. The low rail, exposed legs and restrained headboard keep the form visually simple. The frame is supplied for a separate mattress, so its final comfort and sleeping height can be chosen to suit the mattress selected by the buyer.
