Zambelis E500 is a graphite outdoor wall light with a rectangular aluminium housing and a polycarbonate diffuser. Horizontal slats distinguish its front from a plain illuminated panel, while the fitting directs light upwards, downwards and through the front.

Check the wall space around the fitting

The housing measures 23 cm wide, 10 cm high and 9.5 cm deep. Compare these dimensions with the available space beside an entrance, on a façade or on a terrace wall. Also check the movement of nearby doors: a low front profile does not mean that the body sits flush with the wall.

The pale diffuser contrasts with the dark frame. Its rectangular outline suits modern and minimalist architecture, with the horizontal divisions adding a visible detail rather than relying on colour alone. The up-and-down distribution makes the surrounding wall part of the lighting effect, so consider the wall above and below the installation point as well as the space occupied by the lamp itself.

Choose the E27 bulb separately

The fitting takes one E27 bulb rated at no more than 15 W. A bulb is not included. Select its lumen output and colour temperature for the effect you want at the entrance or terrace. The housing does not have a fixed light colour or lumen rating of its own: these depend on the bulb you install. The manufacturer's datasheet specifies no dimming option.

Surface mounting and electrical connection

E500 is intended for surface mounting on an outdoor wall. Its IP54 rating provides protection against dust and splashing water, not immersion. The supply is 220–240 V and the fitting is Class I, requiring a protective earth connection. Installation and electrical work should be carried out by an electrician following the manufacturer's instructions, with the power disconnected before work begins.
