Omar JE-DHS-0530-GD is a square LED ceiling light from Zuma Line, 53 cm along each side and only 5.4 cm deep. The underside is a white matt plastic diffuser with rounded corners, edged by a narrow decorative frame in gold. The body is metal.
Dimensions and mounting
At 5.4 cm deep the light sits almost flush with the ceiling, so it takes no headroom and also suits rooms with a low ceiling. Compare the 53 × 53 cm square with the size of the room and the distance to the walls. The light weighs 1.82 kg, and the box measures 57 × 57.5 × 6.3 cm.
How much light, and what kind
The source is an integrated 48 W LED module, included — there are no bulbs to buy. The light gives 3400 lm, more than four times an old 60 W bulb; that is enough to serve as the main lighting for a whole room from one point. 4000 K is neutral white light with no yellow cast, which works well where people work or read.
The light runs on 230 V from a standard lighting circuit. In the Omar series the manufacturer also offers a version with a chrome frame and round ceiling lights 53 cm in diameter.
