KASPA lamps

KASPA: Polish lighting with glass blown in Krosno

KASPA is a Polish decorative lighting brand founded in 2014 by Kasia Hanus and Paweł Szymański. Its showroom is in Warsaw, and its lamps are designed and made in Poland. The glass shades are blown in the glassworks of Krosno. The fabric lampshades are sewn by hand in Poland, and the brand keeps the whole process close – from choosing colours and materials, through blowing the shades, to assembling the lamps. KASPA lights are made for homes and flats as well as hotels, restaurants and spas.

Glass, metal and simple forms

The blown shades are KASPA's signature: clear, white or amber, from small globes to larger shades. The fittings pair them with metal in chrome, gold, brass or black. The maker describes its styles as minimalism, modern classic and design, and its KASPA BY DESIGNERS line is created with outside designers. Many collections come in several versions – a single pendant, a bar with several drops and a wall light – so it is easy to build a matching scheme for a kitchen, dining room or hallway.

KASPA at Lunares

At Lunares you will find KASPA pendant lights – single shades, multi-drop bars and compositions of several different shades – together with wall lights, including models with their own switch, and multi-light ceiling lights.

How to choose a KASPA lamp

• Type of glass. Clear glass shows off the bulb and gives plenty of light. White glass spreads it softly without glare, while amber glass creates a warm, cosy mood.
• Lamp holder and wattage. Many models take a replaceable E27 or E14 bulb up to the stated maximum wattage, while others have a built-in LED module. Under a clear shade, choose a decorative bulb.
• Arrangement of lights. A bar pendant lights a long table or kitchen island evenly, and a single shade suits a side table or a small room.
• Finish. Chrome and black suit modern interiors; gold and brass work in classic and more glamorous schemes.
• Location. These are indoor fittings. For a bathroom, check the IP rating on the product page.
