Aldex Ella pendant light Baby Blue + Red Chilli 47 cm, black cable 1144G29_19_C

Aldex Ella Baby Blue + Red Chilli combines a broad pale-blue shade with a smaller red element immediately above it. The two metal modules measure 47 and 15 cm in diameter, but form a single pendant with one light point. This 1144G29_19_C version has a black cable and black ceiling canopy.

Two sizes and a contrasting colour pair

The lower shade is a shallow dome, while the upper module has a rounded, cup-like outline. Baby Blue provides the larger field of colour and Red Chilli the smaller accent. The manufacturer identifies these finishes as NCS S1020B and RAL 3020. This is the blue-and-red combination, rather than the all-blue Ella variant.

Simple geometric shapes and the difference in scale suit contemporary and Scandinavian interiors. The black suspension draws a separate vertical line above the coloured body. Here, Dark identifies the dark cable version; it does not mean that the main shade is dark blue.

Check the space above your table

Overall width and depth are both 47 cm, and the manufacturer gives an overall height of 230 cm. The ceiling canopy is 10 cm in diameter. When planning a position over a table or island, compare the shade diameter with the surface width and check where its lower edge will sit. The manufacturer permits an electrician to adapt the suspension length.

Suggested uses include a dining table, a living-room lighting zone and a kitchen surface. The broad lower shade, rather than the small red module alone, determines how much visual space the fitting occupies.

A single E27 LED lamp

The fitting takes one E27 LED bulb rated at a maximum of 15 W. Having two shades does not mean there are two lamps inside. Choose the bulb to obtain the required brightness and colour temperature: the blue and red metal finish does not determine the colour of the emitted light.
