The Bazar Bizar The Palm Tree tea spoon, code BABRA013G, is a single piece of solid brass in a gold colour. A palm-tree motif finishes the twisted handle. That motif is part of the metal; the spoon is not made of palm wood. This code contains one tea spoon. Forks and larger spoons from the same collection are separate models and are not included.
The bowl is oval and smooth, the handle is twisted like a cord, and the end opens into palm leaves. The gold tone comes from the brass the producer describes as solid brass. The specification card lists brass and the colour gold. It does not describe a separate gold plating.
Fourteen centimetres, not a serving spoon
The official dimensions are 14 cm long, 3 cm wide and 1 cm high. Compare 14 cm with your own cup, sugar bowl or spice jar: this is tea-spoon length, not the longer Palm Tree salad spoon, which has its own product code. The 1 cm height is the low profile of the spoon lying flat, not the height of an object standing upright. The 3 cm width is the widest point of the bowl, so this is not a thin stirrer.
If you want one spoon beside each cup, order this code once for each place. A collection photograph that shows several sizes side by side does not mean those sizes are in the box.
Tea, sugar and small additions
The short spoon sits beside a cup in the dining room and with small additions in the kitchen: sugar, honey from a separate dish, or a small portion of a dry spice. It does not replace a salad server or a long kitchen spoon. Brass reacts to acids and to moisture left on the surface, which is why the producer says to avoid contact with acidic foods. Citrus, vinegar or a dressing will mark it sooner than dry sugar or tea alone.
At the table the palm and the twisted handle are meant to be read up close. This is a place-setting detail, not a tool for stirring a deep pot.
Hand washing and a dry drawer
The specification marks the spoon as not dishwasher safe. Wash it by hand in warm water with mild dish soap and a soft cloth, then dry it at once so water marks and tarnish do not settle. Do not use abrasive cleaners and do not heat the empty spoon. After washing, keep it in a dry place, ideally wrapped in a soft cloth.
The producer notes that it works with handmade pieces in natural materials, so a small difference in colour or in the palm detail is possible from one piece to the next. The country of origin on the product card is Indonesia.
A palm on the handle, not a universal extra
The twisted handle and the palm put the spoon in the tropical, boho character of Bazar Bizar, next to other pieces decorated with a palm or a pineapple. Gold brass reads clearly against wood, a linen cloth or matte ceramics, where the motif has something to sit beside. The colour alone does not make it suitable for every service and every room. If you want a plain, undecorated tea spoon for an everyday set, this model will be too specific.
