Bidasar Green Marble Candle Holder, Low – BAZAR BIZAR

A low candle holder in Bidasar Green marble: a squat, slightly bulging cylinder 5 cm high on a narrower foot, with a wide round well carved into the top. The stone is polished, in a dark olive green shading into grey, with paler patches and rust-coloured veins.

Size and candle

The holder measures 7.5 × 7.5 cm at the base and 5 cm high — it takes up less room than a cup, so it fits a narrow shelf, a windowsill or a bedside table. The manufacturer designed it for a tealight or another small candle; no candle is included.

It weighs 0.41 kg, noticeably more than its size suggests — the weight of solid stone, which keeps it standing firmly. The manufacturer names the bedside, the bathroom and a living-room nook as places for it, and intends it for indoor use only.

Marble from India — every piece different

The holder is made in India from Bidasar marble. The veining and the spread of colour depend on the part of the block each piece was cut from, so the one you receive will differ from the photo — the gallery shows two pieces side by side with completely different patterns.

Care

A dry, soft cloth is enough for dusting; for cleaning, the manufacturer recommends a slightly damp cloth with a mild, pH-neutral soap, then drying straight away. Abrasive cleaners, acidic substances and prolonged moisture damage the surface — marble reacts with acids, so vinegar or lemon juice, for example, leave dull marks on the polish.
