Nowodvorski PARANA 10718 is a black surface-mounted ceiling light with a compact cube-shaped aluminium body. A circular opening beneath the housing contrasts with its straight sides, while the lamp sits back from the lower edge. Its simple geometry suits modern and minimalist interiors without introducing a suspended shade, decorative arms or a hanging cable.

An 8.5 cm cube below the ceiling

The fitting measures 8.5 cm in height, width and length. Before choosing its position, compare these dimensions with the cable outlet and the space available beneath the ceiling. PARANA remains visible below the mounting surface: it is an overhead surface fitting, not a recessed downlight.

Against a light ceiling, the black body creates a distinct contrast; on a dark background, its outline is less prominent. Repeating the same small cube can give several lighting positions a consistent appearance without large shades. Spacing should still be planned around the lighting needed rather than the visual pattern alone.

Choose the GU10 lamp separately

There is one light point for a replaceable GU10 R50 lamp, LED only, rated at no more than 15 W. No lamp is included. Check both the cap and physical dimensions when selecting one. The wattage is the permitted lamp limit, not the consumption of an LED module already installed in the fitting.

Brightness, colour temperature and beam angle depend on your selected lamp. For a corridor, entrance hall, kitchen or supplementary lighting in part of a living room or bedroom, consider lamp specifications alongside the number and positions of fittings. A compact housing does not establish that one light will illuminate an entire room.

Indoor installation and IP44

The manufacturer specifies indoor use despite the IP44 rating. Bathroom installation can be considered where the chosen position meets the rules for the relevant electrical zone. IP44 does not make every location near water suitable or establish that this is a garden light.

The package contains the fitting, instructions and mounting kit. Direct connection to a 220–230 V supply must be carried out by a qualified installer. Switch off the light and allow it to cool before cleaning; keep moisture away from electrical connections.
