Maytoni Wald O420FL-L12GF is a low garden bollard with a graphite-coloured metal body, a slender upright and a flat circular head. Its illuminated surface sits beneath the upper cover, separating the solid top from the light directed towards the ground below.
Plan a low light beside the path
The bollard is 40 cm high and its head measures 18 cm in diameter. It provides a light point close to ground level rather than a tall lighting column for an entire site. Compare these dimensions with the path edge, nearby planting and the space available beside a terrace before choosing its position. Keep the fitting outside the walking route and any door's opening arc.
The outdoor construction, IP65 rating and low profile support use beside garden paths, terrace boundaries and driveway edges. The same placement approach can serve outdoor areas at hotels and restaurants. The required number and spacing of fittings depend on the layout: luminous flux alone cannot establish the area covered or the uniformity of illumination.
Integrated warm-white illumination
The built-in LED source is rated at 12 W, with a colour temperature of 3000 K and a stated luminous flux of 1000 lm. Warm white is a fixed characteristic of this version, not a selectable setting. Maytoni specifies a 54° beam angle and non-dimmable operation, so the fitting is not intended for continuously variable brightness through a dimmer.
The manufacturer identifies Wald as a DarkSky-certified series. Its covered upper surface and underside light distinguish it from bollards with a glowing globe. Graphite metal and restrained geometric proportions suit modern, modernist and minimalist garden architecture without adding decorative ornament.
Fixed installation and electrical supply
The installation drawing shows the base fastened to a supporting surface. The fitting requires a 220–240 V AC supply at 50 Hz; protection class I calls for a correctly connected protective earth. IP65 denotes protection against dust and water jets, not suitability for immersion. Maytoni specifies an operating range from -40 to +50°C and a five-year warranty.
