Bollard light NORLYS Egersund Park 6080AL light grey RAL 9006 LED 105 cm 3000 K

The Egersund Park 6080 is an LED bollard 105 cm tall and 12 cm in diameter, with a cast aluminium body powder-coated light grey RAL 9006. The top 33 cm is a clear PMMA cylinder under a flat cap, through which light leaves all the way round. The manufacturer intends it for gardens and other private grounds as well as public areas.

How much light, and what kind

The integrated LED module draws 7.4 W and produces 1370 lm; the complete bollard emits 907 lm at 9.1 W, or 99.7 lm/W. That is clear lighting for a path or driveway around the bollard. 3000 K is warm white, and CRI 80 is enough for outdoor lighting. Only 1% of the output goes above the horizontal, so the light falls on the ground rather than into the sky or into windows.

The bollard can be dimmed with a phase dimmer of either the trailing-edge or the leading-edge type, which makes it easier to match a dimmer to an existing installation.

Mounting and connection

The base has three ø9 mm holes set at 120° on a 65 mm circle. A concrete-in anchor, a ground anchor or a concrete-foundation adapter must be ordered separately, depending on the ground. The bollard weighs 5.64 kg.

The terminals take conductors up to 2 × 4 mm² and allow the supply to loop on to the next bollard with up to 2 × 4 mm². The gland fits a round cable 8–12 mm or 10–14 mm in diameter. Several bollards along a path can therefore run from one supply line. The fitting is protection class II, so it needs no protective earth conductor.

Build and servicing

IP65 means a dust-tight housing protected against water jets from any direction, and impact resistance IK08 protects it from an accidental knock, for example with a lawnmower. The LED module and driver are not disposable: a professional service replaces them, and Norlys stocks a service kit for them. The manufacturer rates the module at L80 over 102,000 hours. The plain cylindrical shape without ornament suits a modern garden.
