Bollard Light NORLYS Halmstad 296BL black E27 85 cm

Halmstad 296BL is a NORLYS bollard light 85 cm tall, with a square 12 × 12 cm section and a head screened by horizontal louvres under a flat roof. The hot-dip galvanised steel body is finished in black RAL 9005, and the diffuser is milky PMMA plastic with a silicone gasket. It has one E27 lampholder for an LED bulb, which is not included.

Dimensions and installation

At 85 cm it is slightly taller than a dining table (75 cm) — compare that with the borders and shrubs it will stand beside. It weighs 12.76 kg net and 13.67 kg gross in a 16 × 16 × 93 cm carton.

The bollard is bolted down through three ø9 mm holes spaced 120° apart on a ø65 mm circle. Ground fixings are sold separately: mounting adapters, a concrete-in anchor, a ground anchor or a concrete-foundation adapter, depending on whether it stands on concrete or soil. The cable entry takes a round cable up to 12.5 mm in diameter. Loop-through wiring up to 3 × 2.5 mm² lets several bollards run from one supply line. Protection class II means no protective earth is needed; an electrician makes the 230 V connection.

Light source and distribution

The lampholder takes an E27 LED bulb of the A55–A60 shape, up to 9 W. You buy the bulb separately and choose its colour and brightness. The user changes it without a service technician.

The milky diffuser hides the bulb and spreads its light, so the head glows evenly without a visible point. The roof partly screens the head from above, and light leaves sideways between the louvres. Norlys states that 48% of the flux goes above the luminaire (ULOR), so it also lights the space above, not just the ground.

Durability and intended use

IP65 means it is dust-tight and resists water jets, so the bollard stands outdoors without any cover. IK10 is the top impact-resistance class, which matters in public areas where fittings get knocked. It operates from −20 to +45 °C, and the diffuser and gasket are available as spare parts (diffuser service kit 06295000, gasket 08295000).

Norlys designed it for private grounds and public areas, and its plain form follows Scandinavian design. It suits the garden, the driveway, parks and the grounds of hotels or restaurants.
