Bollard Light NORLYS Halmstad 296GA hot-dip galvanised E27 85 cm

Halmstad 296GA is a bollard light with a 12 × 12 cm square section and a height of 85 cm, made entirely of hot-dip galvanised steel without a paint layer. In the head, behind horizontal steel louvres, sits an opal PMMA diffuser, closed at the top by a flat cap.

Dimensions and mounting

At 85 cm the bollard lights from roughly hip height — compare that with the path or driveway it is meant to light. It weighs 12.76 kg, 13.67 kg packed; the carton measures 16 × 16 × 93 cm. The weight comes from the all-steel build, which the maker describes as stable and durable.

The base is bolted down through three ø9 mm holes spaced at 120° on a ø65 mm circle, following the supplied instructions. The foundation parts are bought separately: mounting adapters 3080GA0009 and 3086GA0009, concreting anchor 205ZX0010, ground anchor 206GA0010 or adapter for a concrete foundation 206GA0S10. The gland takes a round-sheathed cable up to 12.5 mm in diameter, and the next bollard can be looped through with conductors up to 3 × 2.5 mm², so several fittings along a path run on one line. Protection class II means no protective earth conductor is needed.

Lamp and light

The fitting has an E27 socket and takes an LED lamp in an A55–A60 bulb of up to 9 W. The lamp is not included, so you choose the brightness and colour, and the user changes it without a service call. The opal diffuser scatters the light, so no bright lamp point shows between the louvres.

The maker describes the light as open, only partly covered from the top. ULOR is 48 %, meaning almost half of the flux goes above the fitting — the bollard lights its surroundings, plants and nearby walls, not just the ground (BUG B0-U3-G1).

Durability and placement

IP65 means a dust-tight housing protected against water jets, so the bollard stands outdoors without cover. IK10 is the highest impact class on that scale, which matters by a driveway and in public places. The operating range is −20 to +45 °C. The diffuser and gasket are available as spare parts (06295000, 08295000). Norlys intends the bollard for private grounds and public zones: garden, terrace, driveway, street and the grounds of hotels and restaurants.
