Bollard Light NORLYS Narvik II 1736GR graphite LED 22.2 W 3000 K 95 cm DALI2

Narvik II 1736GR is a 95 cm bollard light in cast aluminium, powder-coated in graphite (RAL 7016). The 24 × 24 cm body tapers towards the top and ends in a domed cap, under which the light leaves on four sides through a clear PMMA diffuser. The LED module and DALI driver are built in, so the bollard needs no lamp.

What light it gives and how it is controlled

The luminaire draws 22.2 W and delivers 1416 lm from a module rated at 3017 lm – the cap shields the module from above and directs the light onto the ground around the bollard. The satin-diffuser version (Narvik II 1735) gets 1123 lm from the same module – the clear one passes more light, but the LEDs stay visible behind it. 3000 K is a warm white, and CRI 80 is the usual colour rendering for outdoor lighting. 8.9% of the flux goes upwards (BUG B1-U3-G1).

The driver works on DALI2 with NightDim and leaves the factory programmed for maximum current. Dimming needs a DALI controller and bus – an ordinary wall dimmer will not work here. The module keeps 80% of its flux beyond 102,000 h and the driver is rated for 100,000 h.

Mounting and connection

The base has six oval 10 × 15 mm holes on a ø172 mm circle, spaced at 60°. The bollard weighs 10.9 kg. Fixing parts are bought separately: the concrete-in anchor 505XX0009, the concrete foundation adapter 110GA0309 or the mounting adapters 3088GA0009 and 6011GA0011.

The terminals take conductors up to 5 × 2.5 mm², looped connection included, so several bollards run from one line and the five cores leave room for the two DALI bus wires. The cable entry takes a round cable of ø8–12 mm or ø10–14 mm, and the terminals are reached through an inspection door in the body.

Durability and use

IP65 lets the bollard stand unprotected in the rain, and IK10 is the highest impact class – it matters by a path or driveway, where the bollard is within reach of wheels and feet. It operates from −20 to +45 °C. The LED module and control gear are replaced only by a qualified service, for which the manufacturer offers the service kit ZS1736zx0010.

Norlys intends Narvik II for private grounds and public areas: beside a terrace, along a driveway or street, at the approaches to hotels and restaurants.
