Stockholm 1268BL is a low bollard light, 28 cm tall and 16.5 cm in diameter, made of hot-dip galvanised steel powder-coated black (RAL 9005). The upper part is an opal PMMA diffuser behind horizontal fins, with a short base below carrying the fixing holes. The LED module is built in, so the bollard needs no bulb.
What light it gives
The fitting draws 10 W. 3000 K is warm white, Ra 80 is the usual colour rendering for outdoor area lighting, and SDCM3 means bollards in a row shine in the same tint. The light is open and diffused, spreads evenly around the bollard and lights the ground as well as the immediate surroundings (BUG B0-U3-G1).
The bollard dims on a trailing-edge or leading-edge phase dimmer, so ordinary wall dimmers suit it. The LED module is replaced only by a professional service; the manufacturer supplies the diffuser and the gasket as spare parts (06295000 and 08295000).
Mounting and wiring
At 28 cm the bollard lights at ankle height — compare that with the edge of the path or the step it will stand beside. The base is bolted down through three ø9 mm holes set 120° apart on a ø65 mm circle. The fitting weighs 4.69 kg, or 5.12 kg packed.
The fixing parts are sold separately: mounting adapter 3080GA0009, concreting anchor 205ZX0010 or adapter for a concrete foundation 206GA0S10. The terminals take conductors up to 3 × 2.5 mm², and the gland a round cable up to 12.5 mm in diameter. The fitting is protection class I and must be connected to an earth conductor.
Finish and where it goes
Under the black powder coat the steel is hot-dip galvanised, so corrosion protection does not rest on the paint alone. IP65 means a dust-tight housing protected against water jets, so the bollard can stand outdoors without cover. Norlys intends it for lighting private grounds and public spaces. A finned shade on a plain cylinder is a typical form of Scandinavian garden lighting.
