Bollard Light NORLYS Stockholm 297BL black E27 85 cm

Stockholm 297BL is a NORLYS bollard light 85 cm tall, with a round 17 cm section and a head ringed by horizontal bands under a flat roof. The hot-dip galvanised steel body is finished in black RAL 9005, and the diffuser is clear PMMA plastic with a silicone gasket. It has one E27 lampholder for an LED bulb, which is not included.

Dimensions and installation

At 85 cm it is slightly taller than a dining table (75 cm) — compare that with the borders and shrubs it will stand beside. It weighs 10.55 kg net and 11.2 kg gross in a 20.5 × 20.5 × 91 cm carton.

The bollard is bolted down through three ø9 mm holes spaced 120° apart on a ø56 mm circle. Ground fixings are sold separately: mounting adapters, a concrete-in anchor, a ground anchor or a concrete-foundation adapter, depending on whether it stands on concrete or soil. The terminals take conductors up to 3 × 4 mm² and the cable entry a round cable up to 12.5 mm in diameter. Loop-through wiring up to 3 × 2.5 mm² lets several bollards run from one supply line. Protection class II means no protective earth is needed; an electrician makes the 230 V connection.

Light source and distribution

The lampholder takes an E27 LED bulb of the A55–A60 shape, up to 9 W. You buy the bulb separately and choose its colour and brightness. The user changes it without a service technician.

The diffuser is clear, so the fitted bulb stays visible and its shape becomes part of the look. The distribution is rotationally symmetrical, so light spreads evenly all around the bollard. Norlys states that 51.68% of the flux goes above the luminaire (ULOR), so it also lights the space above, not just the ground.

Durability and intended use

IP65 means it is dust-tight and resists water jets, so the bollard stands outdoors without any cover. IK10 is the top impact-resistance class, which matters in public areas where fittings get knocked. It operates from −20 to +45 °C, and the diffuser and gasket are available as spare parts (diffuser service kit 06281005, gasket 08288002).

Norlys designed it for private grounds and public areas, and its plain form follows Scandinavian design. It suits the garden, the terrace, the driveway, residential streets and the grounds of hotels or restaurants.
