TRYSIL 1105BL is an 85 cm LED bollard shaped like an inverted L: an upright profile of extruded aluminium, 11 cm wide, turns at the top into a head that reaches out 34 cm. The whole fitting is powder-coated black, RAL 9005, and the light leaves through a clear, sealed PMMA lens on the underside of the head.
What light it gives
The integrated Cree LED module is rated at 5.8 W and the whole light draws 7.4 W. The source produces 828 lm, and 706 lm leaves the fitting, directed downwards. The Ledil SCL lens distributes the light to IESNA type II/III, meaning an elongated pool along a path or driveway rather than a circle around the post. 4000 K is a neutral white light.
The bollard can be dimmed with a trailing-edge (TE) phase dimmer — the product sheet does not list leading-edge dimmers. The LED module and the driver are replaced by a professional service; the manufacturer offers repair kit ZS1101 for this. The module's L90 lifetime is 109,000 h and the driver's 50,000 h.
Installation and wiring
The bollard is bolted to the base through four ø8 mm holes spaced 18 × 50 mm; the manufacturer sells concrete anchor 1907 separately. The terminals take conductors up to 3 × 2.5 mm², and the light can be looped through with conductors up to 3 × 1.5 mm², so several bollards along one path run from a single supply line. The cable gland takes a round cable up to 12.5 mm in diameter.
It is a protection class I luminaire, so it must be connected to the protective earth conductor, and installation should be done by a qualified person. IP65 means a dust-tight housing protected against water jets, and IK08 resistance to impacts of up to 5 J. The light weighs 4.2 kg.
Where it fits
The manufacturer intends Trysil for lighting gardens, private grounds and architectural projects — beside a terrace, along a driveway and by an access road. The plain, angular body without ornament and the matt black suit modern architecture.
