Trysil 1085GR is a complete 400 cm lighting pole with a single, gently angled arm ending in a flat LED head. It is extruded aluminium profile, powder-coated graphite (RAL 7016); the diffuser is clear, textured, UV-stabilised polycarbonate sealed with a silicone gasket.
Dimensions and installation
The arm sets the head 71 cm out from the pole axis and the profile is 24 cm wide, so light falls in front of the pole – over a path or driveway – rather than onto its base. The pole weighs 24 kg and arrives in a 232 cm long carton, worth planning for when taking the delivery. Fixing accessories are sold separately.
The terminals take cable up to 3 × 4 mm², or up to 3 × 2.5 mm² when looping through to further poles, with a diameter of up to 12.5 mm. It is a protection class I luminaire, so an earth conductor must be connected – installation is for a qualified electrician.
How much light and what kind
Two LED modules draw 17 W together and deliver 1719 lm at 4000 K, a neutral white, with CRI 80. The textured diffuser spreads it hemispherically downwards, and the BUG rating B1-U1-G1 means only a small share of light goes upwards and sideways. The manufacturer calculated the illuminance for a 4 m height.
The luminaire dims on an ordinary phase dimmer – both trailing edge and leading edge types. LED life is 102,000 h to L80 and 52,600 h to L90; the manufacturer rates the driver at 50,000 h. The LED modules and driver are replaced by a professional service.
Durability and intended use
IP65 means dust-tight and protected against water jets, and IK10 is the top impact rating on that scale. The plain geometric form in a modernist spirit suits contemporary architecture: gardens, parks, driveways and terraces, as well as hotel and restaurant grounds.
