Brinova AMIGO 6017412310848 is a large floor lamp built around an oak upright and a slanting black arm. The shade hangs to one side of the base rather than directly above it. Oiled oak and metal are paired with a beige-black cotton and linen fabric shade, whose pale inner section is visible beneath the broad black outer shape.

Allow for the arm, not just the base

The manufacturer's drawing specifies a maximum height of 210 cm. The product sheet also gives a length of 160 cm and a width of 70 cm: that 160 cm measurement is not the lamp's height. The shade measures 70 cm across, while the round base has a diameter of 40 cm. Planning its position therefore means checking the space occupied by the arm and shade as well as the footprint on the floor.

This offset arrangement can be used beside a sofa or armchair in a living room, or next to a seating area in a bedroom. Keep the base out of the walking route and check that opening doors will not meet the shade. In a dining area or hotel lounge, compare the complete outline of the lamp with the furniture layout rather than judging clearance from the base alone.

One replaceable E27 light source

AMIGO has one E27 socket rated for a light source of up to 60 W. This is the permitted bulb wattage, not a statement that every bulb configuration consumes 60 W. Brightness and light colour depend on the source selected; the fitting does not have a fixed colour temperature or a fixed lumen output.

Oak grain with a black outline

The straight timber upright, thin metal arm and low, wide shade give the lamp a restrained modern profile. Its visible oak grain also works with Scandinavian furnishings. A black fabric-covered cable repeats the colour of the arm and base, while the pale inner shade distinguishes this version from an entirely black shade.
