The VIPER 6641 is a ceiling lamp built around a long cantilever arm: only the 10 × 3 cm canopy stays at the ceiling, while the black shade with a gold interior hangs at the far end of the arm. The shade measures 37 cm across and 25.5 cm high, the frame is lacquered steel and the shade is fabric.
How much room it takes and where it goes
The arm is 158 cm long and the whole structure spans 65 cm in width. That lets you place the shade over a table or a sofa even though the ceiling outlet sits somewhere else — compare those 158 cm with the distance between your junction box and the surface you want lit.
The height of the fixture adjusts between 58 and 173 cm. Above a dining table the bottom edge of a shade usually sits 70–80 cm above the surface, and this range reaches that figure in rooms of different heights. The lamp weighs 1.67 kg and mounts on a fixing bridge.
The light it gives and what you buy separately
The fixture takes one E27 bulb and accepts LED sources only, up to 25 W. No bulb is included, so you choose colour and brightness yourself — over a table most people pick 2700–3000 K, a warm, slightly yellow light.
The fabric shade is opaque and its gold lining throws the light downwards, onto the surface below. Whether the lamp can be dimmed therefore depends entirely on the bulb and on the dimmer in your installation.
Build and wiring
The frame is lacquered steel and the shade is black fabric with a gold interior. The luminaire is protection class I, so the connection needs an earth conductor: check beforehand that your ceiling box carries an earth wire.
The lamp is intended for indoor use. Nowodvorski makes it in Poland, and the same model is also sold in white under the number 6640.
