Maytoni Cipresso Z014TL-01G is a gold-finished table lamp with a single cylindrical shade made from matte glass. Two curved metal panels of different heights frame the shade, supported by slender uprights above a round base. Its galvanic gold finish and asymmetric composition distinguish it from a conventional table lamp with a fabric shade.
A tall silhouette for a side table or console
The lamp measures 75.3 cm in overall height, with a base diameter of 20 cm. Compare these dimensions with the available furniture surface and the clearance above it before choosing a position on a console, chest of drawers or side table. This is a tall table lamp, so product photographs alone are not a reliable guide to its scale.
The glass shade is 35 cm high and 10 cm in diameter. Its narrow vertical form remains visible between the metal panels. In a living room, the lamp can provide supplementary lighting beside a sofa. For a bedroom, check the furniture height and its position relative to the bed first. The manufacturer also identifies home offices as an intended setting.
One E14 socket, with an on-cord switch
Cipresso has one E14 socket and accepts a light source rated at no more than 40 W. This is the permitted bulb wattage, not a measure of brightness. Check the chosen bulb's luminous flux and colour temperature rather than treating the warm appearance in the photographs as a fixed specification of the lamp.
The fixture is not dimmable. Its switch is on the supply cord, so leave that control accessible when planning the position. Matte glass surrounds the light source; this is not an open, directional reflector lamp for aiming light at a work surface.
Curved metal rather than a traditional shade
The round base, fine uprights and unequal panels create a modern, sculptural outline. In a dining room, it can stand on a sideboard as additional lighting rather than function as a pendant over the table. White glass visually separates the illuminated section from the gold metal. Comparing front and side views helps reveal how the two panels overlap differently from each angle.
