ZUGO is a CustomForm two-seater sofa with a sleeping function, upholstered in a yellow turmeric-coloured fabric, code 1310. It stands on turned beech legs in a walnut finish, the backrest is stitched with a row of fabric-covered buttons, and the wide, flat arms and the seat edges are finished with piping. This piece has one fixed combination: fabric 1310 with walnut wood.

How much space it takes

The sofa is 178 cm long along the wall, 84 cm deep from it and 80 cm high. Facing a walkway it needs about 80 cm of clear space in front, so more than 160 cm of room depth in total — and considerably more when unfolded.

The manufacturer states a ±2% dimensional tolerance for upholstered furniture, which on 178 cm means about 3.5 cm either way. Allow for that margin in an alcove or between two cabinets.

How it sits and sleeps

The seat is 39 cm high, clearly lower than the usual 44–47 cm of a dining chair. You sit low, with your legs stretched forward, and people who find it hard to get up from low furniture may find this height awkward.

Unfolded, the sleeping area measures 180 × 113 cm. That is shorter than a standard 200 cm mattress, so the sofa works mainly as an occasional bed, and a tall person may not fit comfortably. The manufacturer also notes that the legs on the sleeping-function version are lower than in the photos, which show the model for illustration only.

Which interiors it suits

A plain, rectilinear body with a buttoned backrest and wooden legs makes for a modern form. The manufacturer intends ZUGO for the living room, the study and hotel lobbies. The same series includes an armchair and a three-seater sofa, also available with a sleeping function.
