Beau 50 by Design For The People is a black pendant with a narrow, horizontal body. Mavro/Lefèvre designed it by extending the silhouette of a lamp along the surface below, rather than building it around a round shade. Metal with secondary plastic parts forms the housing, while two suspension points maintain its straightforward outline.
A 50 cm line above a table
The body measures 50 cm in width and length and 8.5 cm in height. These are the dimensions of the fitting, not its complete hanging height. Compare the length with your table or counter before choosing a position. One Beau 50 provides a compact linear element rather than a large arrangement of separate pendants.
The manufacturer identifies dining tables and kitchens as intended settings. It can also complement the dining area of a living space. The black housing and restrained shape suit Scandinavian, minimalist and contemporary interiors without introducing decorative arms or glass globes. Placement should take the room's other lighting into account.
A replaceable S14S lamp is included
The supplied linear LED lamp uses an S14S cap and consumes 8 W. Its 2700 K colour temperature is warm white, with a declared luminous flux of 750 lm. The light source is replaceable; a replacement must match the S14S interface and the maximum lamp rating of 8 W. This is not a fitting for an ordinary E27 bulb.
The EPREL information sheet for the included source, registration 1256406, states that it is not dimmable. The supplied combination should therefore not be treated as a ready-to-dim lighting solution. This specification describes the included lamp, rather than every possible replacement.
Plan the suspension before installation
The black textile-covered cable is 300 cm long and is listed by the manufacturer as non-replaceable. Allow for the ceiling height and the body's position above the surface when planning installation. The fitting operates at 220–240 V; Class II denotes double insulation. The fitting has a net weight of 1.64 kg, which should be taken into account when planning its attachment to the ceiling.
