Elstead Holborn Outdoor Flush Ceiling Light, 2×E27, Polished Chrome

Elstead Holborn HOLBORN-F-PC is an outdoor flush ceiling light with a square glazed body and a polished chrome finish. Its solid brass frame surrounds clear bevelled glass, leaving the two bulbs visible. Narrow vertical divisions around the upper band and small corner details give the fitting a classic character.

A ceiling fitting for a porch or terrace

Elstead specifies this version for exterior use and identifies porches and terraces as suitable settings. It mounts to a ceiling, so your chosen position needs a ceiling or overhead structure rather than a vertical wall. It offers a flush-mounted alternative above a covered entrance when you do not want a light suspended on a chain.

The fitting is 30 cm wide and 16.5 cm high. Before ordering, compare that height with the available space between the ceiling and any opening doors. Its IP44 rating provides protection against splashing water; it does not mean the fitting is completely waterproof or suitable for immersion.

Choose two E27 bulbs separately

Holborn has two E27 sockets, and bulbs are not included. Because the glass is clear, the bulbs' appearance remains part of the design rather than being hidden behind an opaque shade. Their selection also determines light colour and brightness, instead of tying you to the fixed colour temperature of an integrated LED module.

The manufacturer lists a maximum wattage of 60 W and compatibility with dimmable lamps. Dimming requires suitable bulbs and compatible controls; an E27 socket alone does not provide that function. This is a mains-voltage fitting for 220–240 V, with Class I electrical protection, so the installation must account for a protective earth connection.

Classic detailing, unlacquered chrome

The reflective frame and bevelled glass edges distinguish Holborn from flush lights with an opal diffuser. They suit a classic scheme in which the light remains a visible ceiling detail. The polished chrome finish is not lacquered. That finish information applies to this specific version, rather than every colour in the Holborn family.
