Endon Toledo 95472 black pendant light, clear glass shade 15 cm, E27

Toledo 95472 is an Endon pendant light with a clear, cylindrical glass shade 15 cm in diameter. The lampholder, ceiling rose and flex are black, and the metalwork has a matt black painted finish. The manufacturer describes it as an industrial-style pendant.

Size and suspension

The shade is 15 cm across, so the pendant suits places where it hangs on its own over a small surface, or in a row of several above a longer table or worktop. The overall height adjusts from 32 to 150 cm on a 1 m flex. Over a table, the bottom of a shade usually hangs 70–80 cm above the top, which with a 75 cm table is about 145–155 cm above the floor; compare that with the height of your own room.

The pendant weighs 0.7 kg. It is a Class I fitting, so it needs an earth (protective) conductor in the installation.

Which bulb and what light

The fitting has an E27 lampholder and takes an LED bulb of up to 10 W. The bulb is not included, so you choose the light colour and brightness yourself. The shade is clear glass, which leaves the bulb fully visible — Endon pairs this pendant with LED filament bulbs in pear, 95 mm globe or classic GLS shapes, where the visible filaments are part of the look.

Dimming depends on the bulb and the dimmer: the fitting has no driver of its own, so adjusting brightness needs a bulb marked dimmable and a suitable dimmer in the installation.

Which interiors it suits

Clear glass, matt black metal and an exposed filament bulb give the industrial character the manufacturer calls its "resto" style. The pendant is intended for the living room, bedroom and dining room. The Toledo range also includes a floor lamp and a table lamp in the same finish.
