Firenze 8012BL is the lantern head of the Norlys Firenze pole lights: a bell-shaped shade hung from a curved swan-neck arm, with a bracket that fixes it to the pole. The body is cast aluminium powder-coated in black (RAL 9005), the diffuser is clear UV-stabilised polycarbonate, and a silicone gasket seals the whole.
Which pole it fits
In the Firenze sets the 8012 head sits on the 3040 reducer, which in turn sits on the 3010 telescopic pole, adjustable in height from 1930 to 2560 mm. The 810 lamp post carries one such head, the 820 two and the 830 three – so 8012 is bought on its own to add an arm to an existing pole or to replace a damaged head. The reducer and the pole are not part of this article. The shade is 27 cm wide.
Which bulb and where it can shine
The head has an E27 socket and comes without a bulb. It takes an A55–A60 shaped lamp up to 110 mm long; the manufacturer allows LED up to 9 W, and the user replaces the lamp themselves. Colour and brightness are therefore set by the bulb you choose – for a garden, 2700–3000 K, a warm light, is the usual pick.
IP54 means protection against splashing water from any direction and against dust, so the head works outdoors without a roof over it. The manufacturer intends the Firenze sets for gardens and parks.
