The GAP530 is a wall light built as a short, faceted aluminium tube in satin white on a small wall plate. The tube is open at both ends and each opening holds its own GU10 holder, so the light leaves the fitting upwards and downwards at the same time.
How big it is and how far it stands off the wall
The tube is 160 mm tall and 56 mm across, and the whole fitting projects 85 mm from the wall face. Those 85 mm are worth comparing with the width of the passage, or with the clearance beside the mirror or cabinet the light will hang next to.
The mounting plate is 62 mm tall, only 2 mm more than a standard ø60 mm wiring box — it will cover one, but only if the opening is well centred. The light weighs 0.29 kg net and 0.33 kg packed, so it puts little load on plasterboard.
What light sources it takes
Both holders are GU10 and accept lamps of up to 35 W each. That is the maker's ceiling per lamp, not the fitting's own consumption — ordinary GU10 LED reflectors sit well inside it.
The maker publishes no colour temperature and no lumen figure, because both come from the lamp you choose. So does the beam: a narrow reflector draws two clear cones on the wall, a wider one blurs them into a single wash. Two separate sources also mean the lamps have to be bought as a pair.
Build and connection
The body is aluminium throughout, finished in satin white — a matt surface with no gloss, over which the faceted outline of the tube breaks the light into soft edges. The maker specifies the fitting for indoor use only.
It runs directly on 220–240 V 50/60 Hz mains and is class II, so no protective earth conductor is required. The maker's instructions reserve installation and connection for a qualified person.
