Garden bollard post GES2405 Gea Luce brown 20 cm, body without head

The GES2405 is the bare post of a Gea Luce garden bollard: an aluminium tube 120 mm across and 200 mm high, brown, open at the top. There are no diodes, no supply and no diffuser in this article — it is the structural part onto which a light head is later fitted.

What you buy alongside it to make it light

The head with the LED module is a separate article at the manufacturer: GES2391 for the brown version, GES2390 for the anthracite one. It is the head, not the post, that brings the whole lighting side — 12, 16 or 20 W, 942 to 1591 lm, 3000, 4000 or 5000 K, a clear methacrylate diffuser, IP65 and a 220–240 V supply. Power and colour temperature are chosen before the head goes onto the post, so that decision belongs to the order rather than to the installation.

The same head fits every post height, and the manufacturer makes three: 20, 44 and 84 cm. The GES2405 is the shortest of them.

Size and finish

Twenty centimetres is a post for lighting the surface itself — the outline of a bed, the edge of a step, the side of a path. The taller members of the same family lift the light point above planting, so the height follows what you want lit rather than the size of the garden.

The post weighs 0.79 kg net and 0.95 kg gross. The powder coating is done to corrosivity category C4, which the manufacturer intends for strongly corrosive surroundings — industrial sites and the coastal strip, where an ordinary coating on aluminium gives up first.
