Gea Luce GFA1772C 48 V magnetic track spotlight, gold, LED 12 W 967 lm 3000 K

The Gea Luce GFA1772C is a spotlight for magnetic 48 V tracks: a gold aluminium cylinder 45 mm across and 110 mm long, carried on a black bracket with a magnetic catch. A clear polycarbonate diffuser closes the front and a soldered LED module works inside.

How it joins the track and how much room it takes

The fitting snaps magnetically into a 48 V track — the bracket is simply offered up to the profile. The track and the 48 V driver are separate articles, so the GFA1772C is bought to add to a system that already exists rather than fitted to a ceiling on its own.

From the top edge of the track to the bottom of the cylinder is 158 mm, of which 110 mm is the cylinder itself at 45 mm diameter. The manufacturer rules out mounting the body in track corners, so a layout has to leave the heads room on a straight run.

The light it gives and how it aims

The LED module draws 12 W and delivers 967 lm in a 38° beam. This is concentrated light: instead of filling a room it cuts a circle on a wall, a shelf or a counter, so it works as an accent rather than as general lighting. 3000 K is warm white, and a CRI above 90 means fabric, wood and leather keep their true colour under it — which matters wherever a customer judges goods by eye.

The head turns through 340° and tilts through 0–90°, so the direction is set after the fitting is already in the track. The diodes are soldered into the body, so there is no lamp to buy and none to change; the stated life is 50,000 h.

Supply and switching

The fitting runs on 48 V DC and is insulation class III, so it takes safety extra-low voltage from the track driver rather than mains. This version is not dimmable — it switches on and off — and the manufacturer has given it a dual-switching system whose wiring is covered by the instructions in the box.

IP20 means dry indoor locations only. The body weighs 0.28 kg and the package 0.35 kg.
