Gea Luce GFA1412N is a round recessed spotlight with a white aluminium body and a transparent methacrylate diffuser. A narrow rim surrounds the recessed light opening, while the finned upper body sits above the ceiling plane after installation. This restrained shape suits modern and minimalist interiors where a suspended decorative fitting is not wanted.
Neutral white light with a defined beam
The integrated LED module is rated at 12 W and produces 4000 K light. This is neutral white rather than the warm colour often chosen for decorative evening lighting. Gea Luce specifies 1370 lm and a 50° beam directed downwards. When planning several fittings, consider their spacing together with the ceiling height: the beam angle alone does not establish uniform coverage across a room.
A colour rendering index above 90 is relevant when the appearance of fabrics, cabinet finishes or other coloured surfaces matters. It describes colour rendering, not the illuminance that a particular work surface will receive. That depends on the installation layout as well.
LED module and separate transformer included
The light source is integrated, so this is not a fitting for a separately selected screw-in bulb. A transformer is supplied too, but it is not built into the luminaire body. Installation planning therefore needs to account for both components rather than only the visible ceiling rim. The specified supply is 220–240 V AC at 50/60 Hz.
Operation is on/off only. GFA1412N is not dimmable, so it should not be selected for a scheme that requires adjustable brightness from this fitting.
A discreet ceiling lighting layout
The recessed format can be considered for corridors, entrance halls, kitchens and living rooms as part of a planned ceiling lighting scheme. Its plain circular outline and white finish keep the visible fitting understated. Choose the number and positions of the spotlights according to the room and the light levels required, rather than assuming that one point will cover the whole space.
