HERMOSILLO is an outdoor wall light in two parts: a half-round plate of black-painted aluminium sits flat against the wall, with a cylindrical diffuser below it - clear on the outside, opal within. The plate's surface is finely grained and matt, with no gloss.
How much wall it takes
The fitting is 10.5 cm wide and 8.5 cm high, and stands 9.5 cm out from the wall; the manufacturer's dimension drawing gives all three figures and assigns each to its axis. It projects under ten centimetres, which is the figure to compare with the width of the doorway or passage it will hang beside.
The back of the plate is flat and the light mounts on the wall surface, so no recess has to be cut for it.
The light it gives
The source is permanently built in: an LED module of 5 W, 420 lm, at 3000 K. That is a warm, slightly yellow light, and 420 lm is roughly half what an old 60 W bulb delivered - the fitting marks an entrance or a stretch of facade rather than lighting a whole driveway.
No bulb has to be bought, and none can be changed either, because the module does not sit in a lampholder. There is one light point, and the opal diffuser spreads the light sideways and downward.
Where it can be mounted
An IP65 rating means full protection against dust and against water jets, so the fitting suits an unsheltered wall, a balcony or a fence pillar. It runs on 230 V mains and is wired in permanently, so installation needs a cable brought to the spot.
For this model the manufacturer publishes no protection class, no beam angle, no colour rendering index and no declared module life, and it does not publish a weight at all.
