Maytoni Hof O422FL-L6GF is a low outdoor bollard with a graphite aluminium body and a narrow vertical light panel on its front face. At 25 cm high, it places the light close to the ground rather than above the garden. Its plain rectangular shape leaves the view across the surrounding surface unobstructed.
A low light beside the route
The body measures 6 cm wide and 10 cm long. Compare that footprint with the intended position beside a garden path, terrace edge or driveway before arranging the installation. Keep the bollard outside the usable walking width and the path of vehicles. It is fixed to the supporting surface, not moved around like an indoor floor lamp.
The graphite finish and unadorned geometry suit modern and minimalist outdoor layouts. The low format can also be used along external pedestrian routes at a hotel or restaurant. Its position should follow the lighting plan rather than an assumption that a particular garden photograph represents every possible installation.
Warm light without dimming
The integrated 6 W LED source provides 200 lm at a colour temperature of 3000 K, producing warm white light. The 90° beam angle and front-facing light panel make orientation towards the intended area part of the placement decision. There is no separate screw-in bulb to select.
This version is not dimmable. Where several points are required, plan their locations around the desired light level and distribution instead of relying on later brightness adjustment. The short Hof is not a substitute for a tall fitting illuminating a large area from above.
Fixed outdoor installation
The instruction drawing shows a lower mounting plate secured to the surface, followed by the body being fitted and fastened with screws. Prepare the supply cable and mounting location before securing the bollard. It operates on 220–240 V AC and is a Class I fitting, requiring a correctly connected protective earth.
IP65 means dust-tight protection and resistance to water jets; it does not permit immersion. Maytoni specifies an operating temperature range of -40 to +50°C and a five-year warranty. These details apply to O422FL-L6GF, not the taller version in the Hof series.
