The Ideal Lux Sasso PT1 D25 is a low garden light shaped like a flattened, rounded pebble. Its opal-white plastic diffuser forms a closed body without projecting arms or an exposed bulb. Product code 161754 measures 25 cm long, 20 cm deep and 18 cm high. The D25 designation should therefore not be read as a perfect sphere with a 25 cm diameter.
A light positioned close to the ground
Sasso is intended for low-level placement rather than lighting an area from above like a tall bollard. Consider it beside a planting bed, next to a terrace or around the edge of a garden seating area. Compare its footprint with the space between planting and paving before choosing a position. Keep both the fitting and its cable out of walking routes.
The manufacturer supplies a power cable, plug and ground spike. These parts do not need to be selected as a separate installation kit. This is a mains-powered fitting, not a solar stone or a rechargeable lamp. Access to electrical power therefore needs to be part of the placement plan, even though the body itself sits low to the ground.
One G9 bulb, purchased separately
The fitting has one G9 socket and does not include a bulb. The installation instructions specify an LED bulb rated at no more than 15 W. Brightness and colour temperature depend on the bulb you select rather than a built-in module with a fixed light colour. The opal diffuser and manufacturer-specified diffuse emission suit a decorative light point. The technical sheet lists the fitting as non-dimmable.
Rounded form for contemporary gardens
Its smooth, irregularly rounded outline suits modern and modernist outdoor layouts, including hotel terraces or restaurant gardens. The white diffuser remains part of the composition when switched off. An IP44 rating supports outdoor use but does not make this a light for immersion in water.
