Harley is a pendant light with a white-painted steel shade built from triangular facets. Narrow slits run between the facets and the bottom of the shade is open. The cable and the round ceiling rose are in the same white.
How big it is and how low it hangs
The shade is 15 cm across and 20 cm tall, and the whole suspension reaches 102 cm from the ceiling to the lower edge. The fitting is narrow, so over a table or a kitchen island it is usually hung as a row of several rather than relied on singly.
Those 102 cm are the manufacturer's figure, to be held against the spot you have in mind: above a worktop the lower edge should stay 70–80 cm over the surface, and in a walkway it belongs above eye level.
What light this shade gives
The fitting takes one E27 bulb of up to 40 W; no bulb is supplied, so the colour and the brightness are yours to choose. The opening for the bulb is 6.5 cm across, which sets the limit: a standard A60 pear at 6 cm passes through, a decorative globe does not.
The steel facets pass no light, so the main output goes down through the open base while thin streaks escape through the slits between the facets and draw a pattern on the wall and ceiling. The maker lists the fitting as dimmable, but only with a dimmable bulb and a dimmer — it carries no electronics of its own for that.
Which room it is meant for
The shape is modern in the maker's own wording: a geometric body with no ornament, one colour, and only the thin cable on show. Italux intends Harley for the living room, the bedroom, a study and the kitchen, and in the Lunares catalogue it also sits under dining room, hallway and kitchen island — wherever a small shade hangs low over one particular spot.
