Italux Rossi Square IP44 DG-203S/WK-WW is a white recessed ceiling light with an aluminium construction. Its square rim surrounds a set-back light surface bordered by gently sloping sides. This is the 20 W LED version with a colour temperature of 3000 K, distinct from the black finish offered in the same family.

Warm white light with no dimming

Italux specifies a luminous flux of 2100 lm and a colour rendering index of CRI80+. The 3000 K colour temperature gives warm white light. When adding further fittings, compare this value with the lighting already used in the room. Luminous flux alone does not establish how many lights a space needs: room size, ceiling height and the arrangement of the fittings also matter.

This model is not dimmable. That is a practical constraint when planning its controls: it should not be selected for a scheme that requires brightness adjustment through a dimmer. The source is identified as LED Osram Duris S5, and the luminaire uses a 230 V supply. It is not an E27 or GU10 bulb holder.

A square outline within the ceiling

Viewed from below, the white frame encloses a recessed light surface rather than a hanging shade. The simple geometric treatment supports modern, modernist and minimalist interiors. Recessed mounting needs to be considered while preparing the ceiling; the required cut-out must not be estimated from the product photograph.

Choosing a room and installation position

The manufacturer lists living rooms, bedrooms, studies, kitchens, halls and office interiors. The IP44 rating also allows consideration of a suitable bathroom position, but does not replace checking the requirements of the particular installation zone. In a hotel room or corridor, the fitting can serve the same ceiling-lighting role. Positioning should take account of both the ceiling construction and the absence of dimming.
