Italux Sardo SPL-5581-3-BK-SG is a ceiling spotlight bar with three adjustable heads on one black frame. The steel structure carries cylindrical smoked-glass shades. Its straight dark outline contrasts with the translucent glass, through which the fitted bulbs remain visible.
Direction without a hanging suspension
The adjustable spotlights allow you to change the orientation of the individual heads. Unlike a ceiling fitting with fixed light points, this gives you a way to account for furniture arranged in different directions. Consider Sardo for a living room, hallway or dining room, or as a kitchen ceiling fitting. Whether it provides enough light on its own depends on the chosen bulbs, the size of the room and the overall lighting plan, rather than the number of heads alone.
The fitting measures 48 cm long, 18 cm wide and 16 cm high. Compare these dimensions with the position of the electrical connection and the space available below the ceiling. This is a short ceiling bar, not a pendant suspended on cables above a table.
Choose three E14 bulbs separately
The three E14 holders accept conventional or LED light sources. Bulbs are not included, and the manufacturer lists a maximum power of 40 W. Your bulb choice determines the light colour and brightness, so compare the specifications of the actual bulbs rather than treating the fitting as having one fixed colour temperature. The smoked glass does not completely conceal them; their visible shape also contributes to the appearance of the lamp.
Dimming is possible with a suitable light source. Using an LED bulb does not by itself make the fitting dimmable: the bulb must be designed to work with the chosen control.
A black frame with translucent shades
The straight bar, repeated cylinders and restrained detailing suit modern, modernist and minimalist interiors. In this variant, black describes the structure, while the glass has a smoked tint. Keep that distinction in mind when coordinating other fittings: translucent smoked glass is visually different from an opaque black shade. The manufacturer specifies a two-year guarantee.
