Italux Sardo SPL-5581-2-SC-SG is a two-light ceiling spotlight with a silver steel frame and smoked-glass shades. A straight crossbar carries two cylindrical heads beneath a round ceiling plate. The glass leaves the bulbs visible, making their shape part of the appearance rather than just a technical choice.
Two adjustable heads on a compact fitting
The manufacturer confirms that both spotlights are adjustable. They can therefore face different directions while sharing one fitting. This arrangement suits a living room, entrance hall or dining area where two lighting points are needed on a common base. In a study or kitchen, positioning the heads can respond to the room layout, although the fitting alone does not establish how much light will reach a work surface.
The stated dimensions are 28 cm long, 18 cm wide and 16 cm high, with a listed diameter of 8 cm. Compare the complete outline with the intended mounting position, not just the length of the bar. This is a short ceiling fitting rather than a pendant suspended on a cable.
Choose two E14 bulbs separately
There are two E14 lampholders, and light sources are not included. Italux allows traditional or LED bulbs and specifies a maximum power of 40 W. The bulbs you select determine the light colour and brightness. The warm glow shown in the photograph is not a fixed colour-temperature specification for the fitting. Since the bulbs can be seen through the smoked glass, their visual form also matters.
Dimming is possible with a suitable light source. This does not mean that a dimmer is built into the lamp. The specified supply voltage is 220–240 V.
Silver metal with translucent dark shades
The straight bar, circular ceiling plate and repeated cylinders give Sardo a modern geometric character. The smoked shades distinguish this version from other glass and frame colours in the family. Its indoor format can be used in residential, hotel or retail interiors, but should not be presented as garden lighting. Italux specifies IP20 protection and a two-year warranty.
