JUPITER MOKA black G9/GU10 chandelier

JUPITER MOKA 1996 is a black eight-light chandelier with arms extending from a central suspension. Lacquered steel meets glass in an alternating arrangement of transparent globes and rounded black lamp heads. Slender rods give it an open geometric outline rather than a continuous ring of identical shades.

Allow for depth as well as width

The fitting measures 100 cm wide and 95.5 cm deep, so its footprint matters in both directions. When considering it above a dining table, compare both measurements with the tabletop and with the routes people take around the furniture. It can also serve as a living-room chandelier where the spread of the arms will not obstruct movement.

The manufacturer specifies a fitting height of 47–69 cm. Check that range against the ceiling height and the furniture below. Marking the full 100 × 95.5 cm outline on a room plan is more useful than judging scale from a front view alone: several arms overlap in that view, concealing some of the depth.

Four G9 and four GU10 lamps

The eight light points use two different fittings: four G9 and four GU10. Bulbs are not supplied, so both types need to be purchased separately. A set of eight identical bulbs will not match this configuration. The manufacturer confirms that the light sources are replaceable; this is not a chandelier dependent solely on a permanently integrated LED module.

Bulbs remain visible inside the transparent glass globes. Their appearance therefore deserves consideration alongside the light colour and brightness when choosing the set. The photographs show how the clear globes differ visually from the black covers, but they do not establish the output of whichever bulbs are eventually installed.

Black outlines and clear glass

The radiating arms and alternating spherical elements suit a modern interior in which the ceiling fitting is intended to remain part of the visual composition. Black defines the structure, while the transparent glass leaves the lamps exposed to view. The model is intended for indoor use and carries a five-year manufacturer-declared warranty.
