The LED Labs STD LED strip 16-1066-50 is supplied on a 5 m roll and operates at 24 V. The roll contains 300 SMD 2835 LEDs, or 60 LEDs per metre. This 3000 K version produces warm-white light, while CRI 80 states its colour-rendering index. It is a single-colour strip rated at 4.8 W/m with an 8 mm PCB width.
Light and construction
The manufacturer specifies IP65HS protection. Rather than a thick silicone layer, the strip is closely covered with heat-shrink tubing. This construction is intended to retain IP65 protection while maintaining high lighting parameters. The 3000 K designation identifies the warm-white version without colour changing.
Planning the installation
An LED power supply is required to convert mains voltage to the strip's matching 24 V output. Plan the complete system before installation: the run length, power supply and, where relevant, an LED profile and cover. The manufacturer notes that profiles can create lines of light in furniture, walls or ceilings. As the roll is 5 m long, compare this measurement with the intended run before ordering.
Details for identification
The declared lifetime is 15,000 hours and the warranty is two years. This is not a self-powered fitting: a compatible power supply forms part of the planned system. Manufacturer code 16-1066-50 and EAN 5904405921555 identify this exact 3000 K version.
