LED Labs PROFI 16-2332-03 LED strip, 5 m, 24 V, 6 W/m, 4000 K, IP65HS

LED Labs PROFI 16-2332-03 is a five-metre LED strip with fixed 4000 K neutral-white light. This IP65HS version has a heat-shrink covering and 350 SMD 2835 LEDs across the roll. It is a component for a planned linear lighting installation, rather than a finished light that connects directly to a mains socket.

Plan the cut lengths and housing together

The PCB is 10 mm wide, so compare that measurement with the available mounting space when choosing an aluminium profile. Cutting sections are spaced at 100 mm intervals. This lets you plan shorter lengths in defined steps instead of designing only around a complete roll. Blue Tape mounting tape forms part of this strip's construction.

A density of 70 LEDs per metre does not by itself guarantee a continuous line with no visible dots. The manufacturer recommends a suitable profile and diffuser when that appearance is required. Their selection belongs in the initial lighting plan, not just at the finishing stage after the strip has been fitted.

One light colour and a 24 V supply

Output is 630 lm per metre, with a colour rendering index of at least Ra 90. The strip can be used for furniture, shelf or kitchen-cabinet lighting; the final result also depends on its position and the chosen diffuser. Its fixed neutral-white colour is not adjustable CCT or RGB colour lighting.

A 24 V DC power supply is required. At 6 W per metre, the complete roll draws 30 W. Allowing the manufacturer's recommended 10% reserve gives a minimum power-supply rating of 33 W. The 3 W figure in the linked EPREL sheet describes a half-metre section, not the whole roll. Dimming requires compatible equipment.

What the HS covering changes

The heat-shrink covering distinguishes this version from the IP20 strip. IP65 does not permit immersion in water, and connections must retain the protection required at the installation site. The manufacturer specifies a three-year warranty and an L70/B50 lifetime of 35000 hours. These describe different things and should not be read as identical warranty and operating periods.
