LED Labs PROFI 16-2321-03 is a five-metre LED strip with warm white 3000 K light and an IP65HS protective sleeve. It operates on 12 V DC and produces a single white colour, rather than RGB effects or adjustable CCT white light. Individual SMD 2835 LEDs sit on a white strip supplied on a reel.
Warm white light with separate LED points
The output is 408 lm per metre, so the length actually installed matters when planning the amount of light. A colour rendering index of at least 90 is useful when viewing the colours of fabrics and other illuminated objects. The strip can provide supplementary linear lighting in living spaces, bedrooms and furniture installations; its output should not be treated as a promise of complete room illumination.
There are 60 LEDs per metre and 300 on the full reel. These are separate emitters, not a continuous COB surface. If the aim is an unbroken-looking line, select the profile and diffuser with the distance between the LEDs and cover in mind.
Check the channel and power supply
The PCB is 10 mm wide and the cutting interval is 50 mm. Compare these measurements with the profile's available installation space, allowing for the protective sleeve as well. Blue Tape mounting tape provides the fixing layer for the planned position.
A suitable 12 V DC power supply is required. Consumption of 4.8 W/m means 24 W for the complete five metres. The manufacturer's recommended ten-percent reserve brings the minimum capacity to 26.4 W. Account separately for the supply location and any additional connected sections. Dimming requires a compatible control arrangement, not an arbitrary dimmer.
What the HS sleeve protects
The heat-shrink sleeve provides IP65 protection for this version. It does not establish suitability for immersion or automatically protect cut ends and connections. In kitchens, bathrooms or outdoor installations, the protection of the complete installation must suit its location. The IP65HS version carries a three-year warranty.
