LUMINES SFERO is an LED profile with a round section 32 mm across, made from polycarbonate in opal. That sets it apart from the usual aluminium profiles: the entire tube surface passes light, so the fitting glows all round rather than through a narrow slot alone. This item is a 2.02 m length.

A tube instead of a slot

The round section has a concrete consequence: it looks the same from every side, so the profile can be run through a space in any orientation without minding which edge faces front. The opal polycarbonate diffuses the light evenly around the whole circumference, which makes the line read as a continuous glowing tube rather than a row of visible diodes.

Installation

The manufacturer provides for two routes: surface mounting and suspension. The first uses screws and the dedicated SFERO MS2 metal clips, the second suspension wires — so the profile can be screwed straight to a ceiling or wall, or hung as a line above a space. Two-part SFERO MS2 end caps close the ends.

What this profile does not do

It is worth knowing the limits: the profile cannot be joined into longer runs, so the span has to be planned in advance — available lengths are 1.0 m, 2.02 m and 3.0 m, and up to 6 m to order. It is neither walk-over rated nor sealable; IP20 places it in dry interiors. The driver mounts outside the profile, and the SFERO FLEX light source (in 2700 K or 4000 K) is a separate item.
