Lillehammer DC2294AL Light Grey Outdoor Wall Sconce by NORLYS

NORLYS Lillehammer DC2294AL is an aluminium outdoor wall light with a narrow, downward light distribution. Its rectangular body is powder-coated in light grey colour RAL 9006, with safety glass protecting the optical assembly. This is the low-voltage DC 24 V version, designed for an installation with an external power supply.

A narrow accent on the façade

The one-sided 4° distribution highlights a selected part of the wall rather than spreading light in a broad fan. The warm 2700 K colour temperature determines the colour of the light, while the optics determine the shape of the accent. Both distinctions matter when choosing a wall light for a particular façade composition.

The LED module is rated at 3.6 W and has a source luminous flux of 512 lm, but the complete luminaire delivers 15 lm. These are different measurements: the module's flux should not be taken as the amount of light leaving the fixture when judging the effect on a wall. DC2294AL is an architectural accent light, not a replacement for broad illumination of the surrounding area.

Plan the power supply before installation

The light requires an external constant-voltage DC 24 V power supply. It must not be connected directly to a 230 V mains circuit. The manufacturer requires a suitably qualified person to select the supply and carry out the installation. The module supports dimming, but the control arrangement depends on the lighting design and selected power supply; the fixture alone does not define a universal dimmer setup.

The LED source forms part of the luminaire and can be replaced by a professional service technician. This is not a fitting for an ordinary user-replaceable bulb.

Body size and wall fixing

The body measures 18.5 × 11 × 8 cm. Allow for two fixing holes of 5 mm diameter, spaced 45 × 130 mm, and follow the installation instructions. A silicone gasket and EPDM cable gland are part of the documented construction, which has an IP65 protection rating.

Plain surfaces without ornamental arms support a modern, minimalist and Scandinavian character. The light grey finish identifies the AL version, rather than a patinated or graphite finish.
