Lucide DUPLA 09243/02/97 is a slim aluminium wall light in the brown Coffee finish with a brushed surface. Its cylindrical body has two openings that direct light upwards and downwards.
Dimensions and connection point
The body is 18 cm high and 4 cm in diameter, with an overall projection of 6.2 cm from the wall. These dimensions let you check the clearance beside a passageway and whether the vertical fitting will fit the chosen wall area.
The mounting plate measures 4 × 3 × 9 cm. Compare its outline with the cable outlet: the narrow fitting makes the size of the existing opening relevant. The light directions are fixed, so the position of the fitting determines where both beams fall.
Which bulbs to buy
You need two 230 V bulbs with a GU10 base in the narrow MR11 format, each rated at no more than 4 W. Bulbs are not included. Lucide recommends model 49094/04/30; its 3.8 W rating is the recommended bulb's power, while the fitting's limit is 4 W per light point.
You choose the light colour and brightness with the bulbs. Dimming requires dimmable light sources and a compatible dimmer, which is not supplied. The fitting itself has no fixed colour temperature.
Indoor installation
DUPLA is intended for indoor use and a permanent electrical connection. Installation materials are included, and an electrician should install the fitting. Class I requires a protective earth connection. There is no plug-in lead, so a prepared wall supply point is needed before installation.
