LUMINES atom is a silver-anodised aluminium LED profile for decorative and accent lighting in furniture and interior finishes. This version is 1 m long and has the product code 10-1354-10. Part of the Design+ collection, it uses narrow side edges and a restrained outline to form a discreet lighting line rather than a bulky lamp housing.
A compact section with a defined strip width
The external cross-section measures 15.9 mm wide and 8 mm high. Compare these dimensions with the available space beside a shelf or underneath a cabinet before planning the installation. The profile accepts LED strips up to 12 mm wide. That limit refers to the strip itself, not the outside width of the aluminium section.
The profile does not determine the brightness or colour temperature of the completed lighting. Those depend on the selected LED strip, so its specifications and the matching power supply need to be planned separately. The manufacturer places the power supply outside the profile.
Surface-mounted or suspended
The atom system supports both surface mounting and suspension. The documentation illustrates atom mounting clips and also lists double-sided tape and pendants as assembly methods. Select the fixing method to suit the design and mounting surface. This is not a profile that necessarily requires a recessed channel.
Furniture applications can include accent lighting for shelves, kitchen cabinets and wardrobe interiors. The profile is a structural part of that installation, not a promise of a particular level of task illumination.
Matching covers and end caps
The manufacturer specifies nano covers in OPAL, CLEAR and BLACK versions, together with dedicated atom end caps. Caps with and without a hole should be selected according to the intended cable route. Choose the strip, cover, end caps and fixings as coordinated parts of one lighting assembly. The silver finish and reduced section suit modern, minimalist furniture schemes where the continuous lighting line matters more than an ornamental lamp body.
