LUMINES BASIC PC Asymmetric Lens 45 is a transparent lens cover for LED profiles in systems A and B. Variant 11-3620-30 is made from polycarbonate (PC) and has a nominal length of 3 m. Its visible longitudinal lens elements distinguish it from a smooth, milky cover.
A lens for accent lighting
The asymmetric lens concentrates the light beam for accent lighting. It is an optical profile accessory rather than a standalone lamp, so the LED strip and profile also need to be considered when planning the lighting result. The manufacturer states a light transmission of 83.79%; this is not the luminous flux of a completed installation.
Check the profile system and length
Match the cover to the profile designation before choosing it. Confirmed compatibility covers LUMINES systems A and B, not every profile that uses a BASIC cover. The cover is press-fitted from the front, or top, of the profile. Its nominal section length is 3000 mm, with a manufacturer-stated tolerance of +5 mm. Allow for that tolerance when comparing it with the installation space rather than assuming an exact three-metre dimension.
