Maytoni Points TR082-1-12W4K-M-W is a linear luminaire for the Radity magnetic track system: a white aluminium bar 22.2 cm long with twelve LEDs set deep into a black inner channel. It attaches to the track by magnet, with no screws.
Which track it fits
The luminaire belongs to the Radity magnetic system and runs on 48 V from the track's power supply. It does not fit 230 V track — neither single-phase nor three-phase — so check which system is installed on the ceiling before ordering. The low voltage also means protection class III: the luminaire needs no earth connection.
The cross-section is 26 × 29 mm and the whole piece weighs 0.17 kg, so the bar almost disappears into the line of the track. The manufacturer offers a separate adjustable Radity adapter of the same length (TRA084FC-11LW), which is not included.
How much light it gives
Drawing 12 W, the luminaire delivers 1400 lm, roughly what an old 100 W bulb gave, concentrated in a 36° beam. This is directional light: it lights a specific part of the room — a picture wall, a shelving unit, a worktop — rather than the whole space at once. At 4000 K the light is neutral white, and a colour rendering index of Ra 90 keeps fabrics and wood looking natural under it.
The LEDs are recessed deep into the body, so from the side you do not look straight into the light sources. They are built in permanently — there is no socket and no bulb to replace — and the manufacturer quotes a service life of 50,000 hours. The luminaire is not dimmable.
Where it fits in
The plain white body without ornament is a modern, minimalist form that blends into the ceiling on a white track. The manufacturer intends the Points series for homes and offices alike; in our catalogue it suits living rooms, bedrooms and dining rooms, as well as hotels, restaurants and shops, where several bars on one track light chosen zones.
