Mantra DAVOS 8607 outdoor LED wall light, black, 24 W, 2700 K

Mantra DAVOS 8607 is an outdoor wall light with a black, rectangular aluminium body. Light leaves the fitting above and below its solid front, producing two spreading areas of illumination on the wall. Choosing its position therefore means considering both the body itself and the surrounding wall surface where that light pattern will appear.

A horizontal fitting with a 20 cm width

The body measures 20 cm wide, 10 cm high and 10 cm deep. Compare these dimensions with the space beside a door, the width of a masonry fence pillar or the wall bordering a terrace before installation. Its depth indicates how far the fitting projects from the mounting surface, which also matters beside a passage.

Straight edges, horizontal proportions and the RAL 9011 black finish suit modern and minimalist exterior schemes. DAVOS has no decorative arms or exposed bulb. Its visual character comes from the enclosed geometric body and the illuminated surface above and below it, rather than from an ornamental light source.

Warm white LED and TRIAC control

The integrated LED source uses 24 W and has a colour temperature of 2700 K. Mantra specifies a luminous flux of 2200 lm. This is warm white light; compare it with the colour temperature of neighbouring exterior fittings when they will be seen together.

The light source is included, so there is no separate screw-base bulb to choose for this fitting. The manufacturer identifies the LED as not user-replaceable. Brightness can be controlled by TRIAC dimming, making compatibility with that control method a requirement when selecting a dimmer.

Wall lighting outside the home

DAVOS is intended for outdoor wall mounting and carries an IP54 rating. Consider it for a facade, balcony wall, terrace or masonry boundary. Its up-and-down distribution highlights the wall rather than serving as a road-facing street-light beam. The specified supply is 220–240 V at 50/60 Hz. As a Class I fitting, it requires a protective earth connection.
